GEO · Chad Case File 004 · White Dream Villas · 30 days

A year with an SEO agency. Still invisible. One header was the whole problem.

White Dream Villas spent close to a year working with an SEO agency and remained invisible to both Google and AI search. Chad's audit found the root cause in a single server response header — and 97 pages went from invisible to visible to Google and AI within 30 days.

Audit to rescore
After ~1 year with an SEO agency
The agency was optimizing a site Google couldn't see. Every piece of content, every keyword, every backlink — built on top of a server header quietly telling every crawler not to index any of it.
01 — The root cause

The whole site was invisible for one reason.

White Dream Villas had done real work — content, backlinks, a year of SEO agency engagement. None of it mattered. The server itself was telling every crawler to stay away.

Root cause: X-Robots-Tag: noindex

This response header was being sent by the server on every page — invisible in the page source, invisible to a casual review, but read by every crawler before it even looks at the HTML. Google and every major AI crawler were being told, directly and explicitly, not to index the site. This is why a year of on-page SEO work produced no visible results: the content was never being read at all.

Schema is the next fix. No LocalBusiness, Review, or FAQPage schema is live yet — the clearest remaining opportunity, and next on Chad's list for this account.

03 — The full audit

What else moved — and what's still open.

Site-wide noindex header
The X-Robots-Tag: noindex header removed from the server. The root cause of total invisibility.
Fixed
Pages visible to Google & AI
97 of 98 pages now visible and readable to Google and AI crawlers, up from 1 page before the fix.
Fixed
Short meta descriptions
7 of 8 pages with short meta descriptions resolved. One page remains at 44 characters — needs to reach the 70–160 character range.
Mostly fixed
Broken external links
One broken external link cleared. Two remain, likely pointing to dead Trustpilot and TripAdvisor pages.
In progress
Duplicate titles
Down from 7 duplicate titles across 19 pages to 2 duplicates across 4 pages. Meaningful progress, not yet fully closed.
Mostly fixed
Trust and contact signals
Contact page and terms of service resolved, lifting E-E-A-T from 47 to 71.
Fixed
LocalBusiness, Review, and FAQPage schema
None of these are live yet. The clearest remaining gap and the next fix in queue.
Outstanding
04 — The broader point

An agency can do everything right and still fail on one header.

Content strategy, backlinks, keyword research — none of it survives a server quietly telling every crawler not to index the site. Chad's audit checks the fundamentals first, because no amount of downstream optimization matters if the site was never being read at all.
